The model, VA14702, is one of an individually numbered Certificated Limited Edition of only 800 produced, & is presented on a plinth with a clear display case & outer card box.
It is new, mint & boxed.
Corgi says: The TR6 modelled was ordered with a hardtop instead of the usual hood and was built on November 6th, 1973, then despatched two days later to British Leyland\u2019s Swansea-based dealer Lex Mead. The first owner took delivery on January 1st, 1974, and, apparently, took it home to his wife who immediately said, \u2018you\u2019d better take that back I\u2019m pregnant\u2019. He kept it for around three months then returned it to Lex Mead. It was purchased shortly afterwards by David Morrish who had to wait to take ownership because the steering wheel had been stolen. Lex Mead eventually supplied the car with the Mota-Lita wheel it still has a.
